To Set Up a Column Entry as a Hyperlink

  1. Open a report in Report Designer and select the Format Layout tab.
  2. Clear the Visible column check box for Persons.Person.Id.
  3. Select the Person row.
  4. Set the Display as Hyperlink check box.
  5. Set Id Value to Persons.Person.Id and Type Value to Person.
  6. Save and run the report. Any document that contains related persons will display the person name in the Person column.
  7. Double-click the person name in the Person column. The person object displays in the Content pane.
